Father’s Son – The Miracles of Quiapo is a work of fiction by Ingming Aberia.
Ingming Aberia has written non-fiction books and numerous articles, including a weekly opinion column at The Manila Times since 2019. The Manila Times is one of the world’s longest-running Spanish/English broadsheets (in operation since 1898). He is a social development worker by training and profession. The questions that nagged him as a student of social action prompted him to write this novel. Earlier in his career he worked in international development agencies like the United Nations (UNCTAD, UNDP, ILO), and the Asian Development Bank. He has a master’s degree in development management from the Philippines-based Asian Institute of Management.
